I want a wireless gaming headset for my ps3, which is the best one?

Suggested Readings

I just broke my steelseries siberia v2 and have to buy a new headset asap since i use ventrilo, teamspeak, skype etc pretty much everyday for gaming.
What i’m looking for is a good quality headset, which

    -looks good
    -doesn’t weigh too much
    - is comfortable
    - has a mic ( A GOOD ONE)
    - has good sound quality
    - isn’t too big

And prefferably a volume button on the cable.(it’s okay if the headset doesn’t have one- it’s just a bonus)

Also I don’t want a headset designed specifically for like diablo/wow etc.. you get my point.
I’d really appriciate some help on this one :)

Im looking to get a new pc for my bedroom for gaming and watching freeview. I will be gaming through an xbox, possibly have a blu ray player and I will also be watching freeview. The choices are:

By the way, sound isnt going to be much of a factor as I play using a gaming headset and i will be upgrading to a surround sound system for this TV (although that may be a problem as they may not support surround sound).

Thanks for all of your help :)

I want a good gaming headset for PC that is 0 or under, and I want no sound to leak in or out of it.
          What should I get?

I have a professional gaming headset, purchased about 6 months ago, from Best Buy. Pretty good, I’ll say. Been great, until I got a new motherboard from Asus. I had a piece of software installed on my HDD immediately after setting my mobo up, and it’s called Realtek HD Audio. It allows me to do various things, and increase/decrease audio flow through the many ports on the front and back of my PC. None of them work correctly with my headset/mic, but sound comes in decently.

My headset audio sounds strange, unless I have "Live" chosen as my HD audio platform. Otherwise, everything comes in high pitched, and it hurts my ears.

Now, to the -real- problem. The mic plainly, won’t work. I turn up mic boost *and* turn up the mic volume all the way. I hear the normal screech of it, and I yell into an audio recorder. It sounds like a whisper.

If you can, e-mail me at Kryp7onite@gmail.com if you can help, or post here. Thank you!
