I was looking at them and they seem to be perfect, but I feel like there should be a catch. For 0, you get headphones with real 5.1 surround sound, with 4 speakers in each ear? The only downfalls I could think of is that it isn’t compatible with the PS3 and the wires will be a hassle.

If anyone has them, how is the sound quality? How about the mic? Is there a stereo mode for music and such?

They came out last monday, here is the page: http://www.turtlebeach.com/products/pc-gaming-headsets/ear-force-z6a.aspx

    Thanks.

I’m in interest of buying a headset because my Mic broke recently, but I am having trouble deciding what to buy. Any suggestions?

      Just know that -
Must work for both my PC and 360
I understand headsets aren’t cheap, but don’t suggest something worth 200$. keep it around or under 75$ please :3
      Preferably wireless
      Comfortable (obviously)
Increases the games stereo (or a better way of putting it is it allows me to easily hear footsteps in CoD)

I looked at the Turtle Beach’s X11, but I heard the wiring is a mess so I’m not sure about that. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
Oh, and preferably one that doesn’t burn through batteries.

I use a phone all day at my desk and want a headset that sounds
very good. Wired or wireless is ok

Hey, my headset just broke. It was a Microsoft Lifechat so I’m not accostumed to greatness or anything.

Being a student I can’t afford super quality headphones and microphone. I just need to be able to listen to where noises are coming from ingame and to communicate with my team without having my cooling fan become much of a problem for them to understand me. (pc has issues with heat, need to have the fan turned on)

So I found some options in ebay such as the "Ozone Gaming Gear Attack Stereo Headset" and Plantronics gamecom 367, all within a comfortable price range (~ £20).
If you have any suggestions for other good headsets in this price range or tips on what to look for I’d really appreciate it.

              Thanks
