I opened my brand new wireless headset and it won’t turn on. I have left it plugged in for a day or so and it has yet to even show any green lights on the stupid mic. Please help me fix it.

I’ve decided to go with Logitech headset with mic for my brothers Christmas present. He is a gamer, who uses online chat constantly.
But there are so many out there, and I want a decent one, that cuts out background noise, etc.
