I need a new head set and I don’t want to trip over the cord like I did with the last one, nearly busted my head open but luckily only the headphones broke. So I guess I’m looking for a good wireless headset for gaming.

Most of the ones I find online either are just way to expensive or they don’t actually have a mic attached. Tell me what kind you use and if you like it or not. Wireless or not, it doesn’t matter. Because if I can’t find an inexpensive wireless one, I’d rather have a really good wired one.

Thanks for the feedback.

I just bought the Triton AX 180 headset because im tired of my old crappy headset that came with my 360. what i didnt realize was this headset requires you to connect to your console and to your controller and the wire mess is really insane.

I was hoping someone could suggest some headsets that only require you to connect directly to your controller and that’s it. Besides, of course the one that comes with the Xbox. I dont want any of that stuff that connects to your tv and console so you hear in game sound, i just want to hear people talking and be able to talk back.

Any headphone manufacturers, price level and type are welcome.

Thanks you guys!

I purchased a gaming headset which I love, but it’s range isn’t what I was hoping for. Hear is a link to the product:

The unit connects the transmitter to the USB port. It uses 2.4Ghz wireless technology… so whatever that means. Also, specifies that it’s Frequency Response is 100Hz~16kHz, I have no idea what that means, but it sounds relevant. Any clues how I can extend this range?
How about using a repeater? This technology definitely exists, I just don’t know how to find the correct device.
