Im on my second headset now, i started with the Venom PS3 Freedom Bluetooth Gaming Headset which worked fine for a couple of months then it started constantly "crackling" this became worse depending on which friends i was online with, last time i tried all i could hear was static, so i bought a Gioteck EX-01 Bluetooth Headset, i got this just before PSN went down, so have only used it for the last month since the service was restored, this headset has been "crackling" from day one. Can anyone suggest a reason for interference, possibly something in the home that could be causing this, or have i just been unlucky and bought two dodgy headsets, both had quite good reviews.

Ive read mixed reviews about Sony’ official headset, but as its only £17.99 on Play.com im thinking of investing a new one…..again. Is it worth it?

re interference: my ps3 is wired, its on a tv unit that houses my bt hub and a wireless sender for sky. There is no other wireless or blutooth devices being used.

I’m in a drama ministry and we are looking for some wireless headset mic’s, I have found several that I’m interested in and am unsure of what the difference between UHF and VHF mic’s, and also if you know of any good deals out there I would appreciate the info. I am in need of at least 4 headset mic’s.

I am hoping to get a PS3 for Christmas just wondering, if you have a wired usb headset to you plug it into the controller or the ps3 itself?
And if i have a wireless headset (samsung WEP150) is that suitable to play on ps3 and talk to players playing NHL08?
    Thanks
It is really pointless having to plug the headset into the ps3 and having the wireless controller although the bluetooth is good and i have a bluetooth device so all is good

My husband needs a headset for his office phone. We’re looking for something from on up. He needs something noise-canceling, and preferably without an amplifier being required to hook it up. Thanks :)

In TechyNews’ first video I will be reviewing the Official Sony PS3 Bluetooth Wireless Headset! The Bluetooth Headset can last for about 5-7 hours, has a noise cancellation microphone, volume level adjustment, charging status, a mute capibility and a few other features. The Bluetooth Headset can be used as a desktop microphone by simply placing the headset into the cradle and plugging the cradle into your PS3/PC/other device. I have decided that I would like to get a wireless headset instead of wired. I figure it would be much too much of a pain. What are the best xbox 360 wireless headsets? I do have a PS3 as well so universal would be nice. Which would be the best wireless headset to buy?

So if you guys know anything about me, you know that one thing I am willing to spend a few bucks on is a decent set of headphones. Well, that time has come once again and I purchased a pair of Nox’s Specialist gaming headsets, so this is just going to be the unboxing. Check Out The Blog: www.Extreme-Days.com Follow Me On Twitter Twitter.com Join Me On Facebook: www.Extreme-Days.com Donate Through PayPal: www.extreme-days.com My first impression is that the packaging is a big confusing, but it is very unique and I like how it was designed. I really like the case that was included, they didn’t cheap out on you for once, this case is made to last and it will protect your Specialist Headset and make that last too and that’s what counts. One thing that is a big turnoff to me is all the wires that are needed to connect this thing to the PS3. There are just so many different wires running all over the place that it just looks like a mess whenever the Specialist is in use. That being said, one of the main reasons that I purchased the Specialist Gaming Headset over Turtle Beach, was because Nox is a brand new company and also I thought that the Specialist would have less wires, but I think I was wrong on that. One thing that is worth mentioning is that right out of the box, when you hold the Specialist Headset, you feel the body to them. They feel like a full 100 dollars worth of headphones and I really mean that. These things feel like they’re built to last with the gamer in mind
